My first Webapplication for an iPhone

After creating my first iPhone-App I was wandering how a web application would look like that is specialized for the iPhone. Here is my first try: A guide for the upcoming OOP Conference: http://oop2010.heroku.com/ (Open on an iPhone)

So what do you think? Would you rather have an native app? And why?

Looks pretty good – but how is it implemented? Are you concentrating on Apple-Development at the moment? Greetings from bavaria, Marc

  2. mdl says:

    Hey Marc. Thanks!
For the technologies: the ui is mainly jqTouch the backend is hosted at heroku, the web framework is sinatra and the persistence is datamapper
I’ve implemented this over the weekend just to give it a try.

    Hi Matthias,
    looks great!
Search would be a cool feature!

  4. MJ says:

Klasse – Suche wäre noch Klasse (Vortragender, Schlagworte)

  5. Alex Bepple says:

Just out of curiosity, I gave this a try on Android with the Dolphin browser. Bad idea. ;)
