A guide to OSX software - not just - for switchers

I've started this a while ago when I tried to make a list of essential Mac applications. Unforunatly my list is short, outdated and uncommented. I've just found this list on digg which gives some great ideas for your first set of applications after a fresh install. And not just for switchers.
